I had massive issues with mines, the ghosting was horrific. Received a refurbished replacement and that too was bad. Managed to eventually get money back. I just went with a Dell 4K as a second monitor for my iMac Pro.

Guess thats why the LG only has 1 year warranty...
 
Would have though that people who spend £3-4K on MacBooks would be running a Dell UltraSharp UP3218K not a peasant 4k monitor :p
 
Apple best release something extra special this year for the iPad Pro, I’ve sold my MacBook Pro and iPad Pro 10.5 to fund it :D

Haha, I don't fall into the category of 3-4k on a MacBook fortunately, but for me 5k isn't worth the price difference over 4k. But god damn that Dell monitor is nice!

Tell me about it one of the graphic artists I work with has one, but it's plugged into a workstation PC as when he's not there one of the CAD/CAM guys uses it. I think the first few days they had it, all that was being looked for was 8k demo footage, and seeing if they could play games at 8k on the Quadro card installed in the system. I don't personally think £3k is that high a price either, especially when you look at the specs, I forget how much I paid for the Dell 2405FPW (1920x1200) in 2006, but I think it was about $1199 or there abouts :o
 
Having switched to Iphone and Ipad about 4 years ago I have always resisted Macbooks. I have a Windows Desktop and didn't really use my laptop much.

However with work now having flipped over to VDI and BYOD I am really tempted by the Macbook as an ultra portable. Hoping that range from next week has something new and light to go for.
 
A high spec Mac mini + eGPU would be very tempting to change up my Windows desktop for. I would like the ability to swap my 2 monitors between desktop and work laptop with just 1 cable, and with a decent GPU to go with it.

Would like to see a new Mac mini announced today.
 
Some of these Apple logos they are using for this event are quite cool. They ought to keep them instead of the boring, plain, white one.
 
I think they're in New York because they're going to announce buying the entirety of New York with their oodles of cash to use as a new campus.

They're going to call it The Big Apple.
