Think the new iPad overtakes my need for the laptop though. Looking really good. Storage does seem overkill, even for power usage with so much using cloud storage now.
Just waiting for the pricing....

Fair point, although Pricing was relly down to price reductions over its life? It was a cheap item when first launched was it?
I am keen on it as looked at the Macbook last year and it was just too small for a laptop, for me anyway.

No it was mad expensive for what it was when it came out (because laptops at that time were all HDD-filled, optical drives etc). It seems a bit of a weird slot in the line-up now though because the non Touch-Bar MBP 13" is also very thin, very light, doesn't have a gimped processor like the MacBooks etc. Makes me wonder if they'll redesign the Pro again into just a 2-tier line-up rather than the current 3.

Glad they finally did away with the Pencil charging via the port, that always looked silly to me.

I thought they had pledged to Lightning for a certain amount of years? I remember reading that somewhere, but could be completely untrue. I would love to have just full USB Type C everywhere.

And how would that compare to what's in the Macbook Air, I wonder? Could they have realistically have put that setup inside if they didn't have to rewrite all the software?

The A12X likely stomps all the Intel chips they are using in their laptops.

It will happen at some point, Apple will switch entirely to their own ARM chips, imagine how much better they will be when they can scale the power usage a lot higher than they can in a phone or tablet.

Wish they’d stop going after consoles, the controls on an iPad ruin the experience and 99% of the App Store nowadays has IAP’s.

iPad shouldn’t be about games at all.

A little sad the Mini couldn't have a better GPU inside but what can you do? Way better than the mess the 2014 was.

Great to see the mac mini get updated ...... disappointed with the pricing though , i think they should have had the base model a lot cheaper.
iPad Pro is looking great , not sure if i need a pro level ipad but im sure i can convince myself
