Not quite true. Surgeons go back to being Mr/Mrs/miss but physicians all stay as doctors

When I was a boy, a local cobbler's shop was owned and run by Mr Soles. His first name was Robert, so the shop was called R. Soles. Worked a treat for attracting attention to the business.

A dentist I used to go to was Dr Savage (he wasn't savage) and a urologist I've seen was Mr Liu (which I think is pronounced "loo").

I had a physics teacher called Dr Payne and he was the opposite.

Used to work with an Aris, good guy actually and absolutely not an aris.

Also worked with a Willie Sujker, and a Mrs De Kok Reis. No idea if Willie was true to her name.
