Wheels on kerb

You're actually allowed to parallel park 50cm from the kerb?

Apparently so! In my defence it was in a bend and it was the day i bought my first car in the UK so had no idea tbh. It certainly wasn't an obstruction and I've seen quite a few others get the same ticket.

I do wonder how stuff like this bothers people... He/she is barely on the path not like its blocking it off.

None issue in grand scheme of things in life really..

I'm not looking for forum cred, I'm not 12. Ok, let's try and be mature about this, kindai. Here's what I posted. Simple, civil and just stating what happened. You may well not have liked what I posted, thought I'm ignorant or naive, that's your prerogative. But you have to agree that there's nothing offensive about it. Yes?

So you could have done one of two things. Either not posted anything, or said something in a friendly manner, perhaps something constructive.

Here's what you actually did instead:

It's obvious you have a lot of growing up to do. :)

The fact youre spending so much time on these replies is concerning.

Maybe the petty tit dor tat thing is an underlying condition you need to work on?

So you're just trying to get one up on someone who reported you for parking across a dropped kerb - how do you know it was them?

move on! why do people care about things like this. If it was genuinely blocking the pavement then fair enough but this is nothing.

If you've got nothing useful to add, why do you even bother posting? Seriously. Are you that bored? I wouldn't dream of entering someone's thread just to throw insults, it's just so immature. Grow the **** up.

I think you expect too much form the internet :(

OP really needs to find something better to do with his time.

Like you?

To the people who keep saying that the way the van is parked isn't worth worrying about, if you cared to take the time to read the thread properly, you'd understand the real reason.
And to the people who tell me I need to find something better to do, all I can say is lol. I practise and play music everyday while many of you are in here discussing which chrome exhaust to put on.

So do we.

Lol. :D

How did you find out this van driver was the one who reported you when the process is anonymous?

So you're just trying to get one up on someone who reported you for parking across a dropped kerb - how do you know it was them?

Because the business whose dropped kerb I parked slightly in front of told me who called the parking people when I got a ticket and I happen to know that they own that van.

The fact youre spending so much time on these replies is concerning.

Considering you've replied to every post I've made to you, perhaps you should be questioning yourself about that. Buttercup.

He openly admitted to it being a petty tit-for-tat thing so quite why some of the posters in this thread are getting on their moral high horses is beyond me. I will bet my bottom dollar that every single one of them is guilty of somehow, some way doing the same at some point.

Absolutely this. Well said Diddums.

Best thing I've read on OcUK this week.
