Wondering if sale prices will be just as good or maybe even better on the Vega 56 Red Dragon on Black Friday / Cyber Monday weekend.

Any thoughts?

Red Dragon won't get much cheaper, maybe £349, Powercolor have made decision not to manufactuer any more, thus leaving that market to other partners still producing, their reasoning is simply because VEGA bleeds money for them.
Now of course there is nothing to say they won't decide to give me some marketing funds to sell the card below cost or even AMD may step in to help, but its always an unknown.

Of course as I have no other VEGA 56 in stock, I am always looking for a new deal, of course for me my wish would be to sell VEGA 56 at £299 with a load of FREE games, such a deal does not exist yet, but I hunt every day. :)

There's always something coming down the line to wait for, but sooner or later you need to choose a card. Do you need a new card now? Are you happy to pay the price? Does the V56 do what you want and match your system specs? If so, then buy now and enjoy the card.

I've been sitting on a R290 for years, waiting for a worthy upgrade. Finally the V56 is at a sensible price, has great performance, matches my overclocked i4770K system and the resolutions I play at. So I bought one, and it's a great upgrade I'm very happy with, and that's the same kind of purchase you need to make if you can find something you'll be happy with too.

You could wait for upcoming products (like Polaris 20) but that may be months away. You might have to wait longer to get aftermarket cooler versions, price might not be a whole lot less, and performance might not be as high as Vega. You could be waiting on Navi, only to find it's another year away, and is a midrange chip. You could wait for 7nm Vega, only to find it's a super expensive machine learning card that is retasked months later as a gaming card (like the Vega Frontier edition).

So, find something that does what you want now, and is the price you want to pay, get it and be happy. Otherwise you'll always be waiting for the next thing. If you can't find something that matches those two criteria, then you have to wait until something does, or be willing to pay more or get less.

Thanks for responses everyone, ye it is a pretty decent price right now so I'm gonna pull the trigger, can't keep waiting around, I'm on a 1050 2gb and it's been grating at my sanity for the last 6 months.
Hopefully I can sell my old card for a bit of buck to calm the wife down when she checks the bank statement :(
