Currently on the stock cooler on a 6700K

Is the H110 any good? Its a corsair refurb that ive seen fairly cheap.

H110 is a CLC (Closed Loop Cooling)(were originally called LCLC for low cost liquid cooling and they are made as cheap as possible and still work. Their pump flow rate is about as much as a drunk can pee (50-60 L/h) while the most popular custom loop pump (D5) flows up to 1500 L/h.

Also Corsair refurb warranty is only 1 year.

i7 6700k is not high wattage CPU so does not need a lot of cooling. The size of stock cooler clearly shows it does not take much to keep it cool, but I prefer a using big coolers because they give me lots of cooling ability an very low noise.

You can get PH-TC14PE which is a very good air cooler for £52.99. Your Vengeance LED RAM are 49mm tall so 44mm above CPU so will just fit under cooler fins, but without knowing what case and motherboard you have I don't know if front 140mm fan will fit between top of RAM and case .. or what other coolers will fit. There are lots of smaller coolers that will cool 6700k very well for even less money.

Cheers my case is a corsair 450D and my mobo is and asus z170 gamer.

To be honest sitting here typing this my CPU is sat at 26 - 28 degrees over the 4 cores. dosent normally go over mid 70s full load

Corsair 450D only has 165mm CPU clearance.

I'm assuming your motherboard is Asus Z170 Pro Gaming and it has 70mm from center CPU to x1 PCie socket and 90mm to x16 PCIe socket.

If you want to use PH-TC14PE you might need to remove the thumb screw holding the crossbar onto cooler base so middle fan will set low enough to allow side cover to be installed. No big deal. Just mount cooler then remove thumb screw. Screw is only to hold crossbar in place until cooler is mounted. If you have some extra computer screws around it is one of the common screws used on computers. You can use cooler with just middle fan or mount middle fan as pull on front tower and 2nd fan as pull on back tower. The difference is only a couple of degrees at most and that would be if you were doing some serious overclocking.

Scythe Mugen is also a good cooler for £42.95

Alpenfohn Matterhorn Pure is also good for £33.95

IOr you could use something like Cryorgi H7 for £34.99

Lots of cooler to choose from

The stock fans in your 450D are not much if any good in my opinion. They have very low static pressure rating .. something like 0.84mm H2O at full speed. I prefer fans with 1.3-1.5mm H2O at full speed of 1300-1500rpm.

Phanteks PH-F140MP are very good and 2-pack is only £16.26.

A good air cooler and couple of good front intake fans, remove all PCIe back slot covers for better venting around GPU and you will be good to go.
