ROTTR, new ARK Extinction expansion, BFV and Hitman 2 are out, where's the RTX features?

I realise W10 RT update was pulled, but DLSS for Ark and H2, anyone seen any eta on DLSS?

Yeah, they're way down yonder.
Seriously, BF 5 is supposed to get RT around the 16th when some other versions of the product are launched. DLSS was meant to be there from the word go I thought (reading elsewhere) but maybe on the 16th along with RT. Won't pick up the game just yet.
Rubbish really IMO. 20 series owners should protest and tell everyone not to buy the game as they can't deliver on release. The price for the game is too high for the lack of features that purchasing the game is funding
I jest :D

As far as BF 5 is concerned, at least it isn't NVidia's fault, as it says in this article.

A new note from DICE states:

DirectX Raytracing (DXR) – DXR enables realistic real-time ray traced reflections in Battlefield V for players with NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics cards including the GeForce RTX 2070, 2080, and 2080 Ti. An early release of DXR will be available in an upcoming patch, near the Battlefield V Deluxe Edition release window. EA, DICE, and NVIDIA will also continue to optimize this implementation and deliver regular updates after its release.

This isn’t necessarily a problem, since the Windows October update also required for RTX support hasn’t been released yet, either, but the fact that RTX owners are waiting for two different companies to drop necessary product updates in order to use features they paid premiums to use isn’t a great look for the GPU family.

Of course for other titles they might also have to wait for the Windows DXR update, I don't know about DLSS though.

Nvidia probably want it delayed as long as possible as when it lands & performance isn't up to scratch then people won't fork out the current prices ;)

I could be wrong...

BF5 rumoured Nov 16th. The others no ETA.
And FFXV is cancelled completely.

I wouldn't hold your breath on Ark. It was supposed to get DX12 support couple years ago in a patch that never came. Just before it became a nvidia sponsored title funnily enough. And at present Instinction a few bugs that need fixing first.

RTX. I cannot believe people bought these things without actual games to utilise them. Surely nobody buys anything without proof it's of any use considering the astronomical price of the cards. Madness, pure madness and I've no sympathy for those who have got one, one on order or who are about to buy one.

Majority will have bought them for the raster performance, not future feature sets.

Whilst I agree with your sentiment, a lot of people have bought the 2080ti for raw frame rates, they won't/don't care about RTX or DLSS. Instead they are looking for 60+fps @ 4k or stupidfps @ a lower res.

Its not as if they are poor performing cards at currant gaming techniques, they are the fastest cards money can buy, and that is why people buy them.

As has been said many times before, there is no such thing as a bad video card, only bad prices.:)

Nothing then-thanks for the actual valid responses.:)
It just works, so I heard. :D
It works at least as good as Vega, it's just taking longer to get to the sweat cream that isn't even available on AMD gpu's.:p

You can ram your sympathy:p

RTX runs every game like every other gpu except considerably faster than anything else if you bought the top gpu, whether the price is obnoxious or not.

I bought a 2070 that costs/performs the same as Vega 64 yet has way more usable features right now even without working RTX with a superior software suit for my needs.

Dice/AMD were slated rotten for not having Mantle available on BF4 release, the Nv folks had an absolute knees up with that, I waited for Mantle, looks like I'm waiting for RTX too but now I'm getting subjected with reading duff posts like I did when I waited on Mantle, probably read more negativity when it lands.

RTX wasn't the sole reason for purchase but would have preferred some kind of RTX features working by now though as it's NV, not AMD-I was expecting better.

I bought a G80 (8800GTX) which main advertisement was "DX10 support for Crysis" with Nvidia showing some wild numbers of performance.
A year later when Crysis actually came out, 8800GTX performance was abysmal, and the next round of GPUs were cheaper and faster. And the cards came out after Crysis were even more cheap and faster.
And it wasn't only the 8800GTX but also the 8800GTS640 and 8800GTS320. And both were completely crap on DX10 Crysis. Yet all 3 were advertise like the epitome of performance on DX10 and Crysis....

I had buried the head in the sand back then, using exactly the same comments many RTX owners do today on your post.

Titan V is slightly faster @2160p.:D

Having said that though 2080 Ti mGPU is going to be interesting.:)

I guess it all comes down to those that don't care. And those that do.
