£1300 build ideas

Hi all it's been a while since I've looked into the best components these days so I'm a bit out of the loop at the minute.

A friend has asked me to build her son a pc for Christmas and £1300 Is the budget he will need everything monitor and keyboard and mouse and all.

I'm guessing at that budget I would be best getting a 1080p monitor?

Any ideas would be much appreciated

Here is something to get the ball rolling. Gone with a cheapish Keyboard/Mouse bundle and also a cheapish speaker set. Maybe swap that out for a Headset/Headphones if preferred or a combo.

A bit of money left over so things can be tweaked further. You should get free shipping as well if mainland UK.

£1300 should easily get you a 1440p capable system.

I've gone a bit over budget, but there should be some good deals on components coming in the next couple of weeks.
 
cheers for the suggestions everyone they look like some nice setups id say they would pretty much be on power with my own rig which i paid a hell of a lot more for a couple years back. hopefully she can have the money together for black Friday to save a few pound
