They keep all discussion confined to one thread in SC and ban people from SC, echo chamber indeed. You'd think OCUK was owned by a German parent company or something...

Or that the people banned from SC are typically banned because they can't reach basic standards of acceptable discussion and/or cannot remain civil towards other posters.
It's a shame that it seems so hard for some people to grasp that a discussion doesn't mean devolving to insults and 4chan memes.

Get out of here with your facts and reason.

Yeah but in reality the discussion in SC is quite often people venting or talking about how stupid leavers are or referring to them as frothies, mouth foamers etc.. etc... if people have previously been banned for talking about flakes of snow or using works referring to sore bottoms etc.. then they're not too different to plenty of remainers talking about leave voters.

How do you get to post on the speakers corner boards?

You automatically get access like all the other forums. If you can’t abide by the rules (more strict than GD regarding links and respecting other posters) you can be banned from posting there.

What about the ones who jokingly say they and other forum members should murder another poster and bring family in to it?

I was banned for a "Lol IQ=4" post. And yet DP is free to post... Inherent bias from the mods. The reason people avoid USSRSC is because the posters there are so vitriolic, with the backing of the mod team.

It's the reason I've avoided the Brexit thread and only go into the Trump Presidency thread for a chortle at usual crowd fawning over stuff for the last 2yrs.

Going to let me in then?
LOL !

The House of Commons aren't civil to each other and that IS the government and opposing parties.
Hardly the best example to set. :p

As usual your grasp on reality is rather tenuous, to be an "Echo Chamber" - something a lot of the people banned from SC like to throw around, it would need to ban all dissenting voices. But there are still plenty of Leavers who can still post in SC and in the Brexit thread, Nasher, ron3003, kitch9, jimjamuk, SPG, kindai (who just recently changed to remain) are a few off the top of my head.

If you are unable to post in SC, then that is down to you alone and no-one else, but its a typical attitude of a certain section of the populous who don't want to take responsibility for their own actions.
