Whats the best 3.1 setup for a small room

So that would be SVS SB-1000 sub, Q Acoustics 3020i Bookshelf Speakers and Yamaha RXV383 5 Channel AV Receiver?

that sub would likely be overkill for a small room.

also rather than creating multiple threads asking basic questions. it's best to just go to avforums and do some research.

Nope not overlook at all had a pc ultra in a small room it was great for movies. 12" in small room is fine..always good to have sub with reserve and able to dig lower than a sub that is just about good enough

Heck I been on that site but I never get a reply from that site. Anyway I like asking basic question from people on this site as I find people more helpful then anyother site when it comes to tec. You been great sonny, given some great advice so thanks for that.
