For the community (gifts)

I do not have access to certain parts of the community forum but I wanted to put this out there.

Paola had a lot of crafting supplies and equipment I would love to go to someone who is the artistic type, I am not selling them, they are gifts, a sewing machine, a Zing, a lot of art materials and wool, embossing items.

I will not sell those items they are what Paola loved and I want them to go to someone who will make use of them.

I also have two very good quality self propelled (manual) wheel chairs, both are for outdoor adventures, one has a pneumatic tires and the other has suspension, these are also free to the community if anyone has need, the only condition is you will have to come fetch the items.

I've just read your thread - very, very sorry for your loss.

My dad has terminal cancer with not much longer to go apparently. He is struggling to walk, but being the proud/stubborn man he is, he refuses any assistance etc. I was able to buy him a walking stick which he begrudgingly uses, but the time is coming where that will no longer be enough.

I would be interested in the wheelchair, but where are you? For the next 2 weeks i am in and around Portsmouth, this weekend in Sheffield and the following time i will be travelling between Lincolnshire and the North East (Darlington/Durham).

Anywhere near?

Wow, so sorry for your loss Calranthe, at least she is at rest and out of pain now, i know that doesn't make things any easier for you but we are all here for you in these tough times.

Sorry to hear about your loss it is never easy

Lost my mum last year to cancer and it sucks

My other half is into crafting and art, could you tell me what the model of the sewing machine is and I can check with her to see if it is an upgrade for her, she would probably love some of the art supplies

I've plugged into google maps and on friday afternoon/evening i am travelling Portsmouth to Sheffield, it looks like you are about 40 - 60 mins off my journey, if the offer of the wheelchair(s) is still available?

I know nothing about wheelchairs, would you recommend the ones you have? Thanks again for the kind offer.

Both of the ones I have are very good quality you can pick which one you want, I bought the best I possibly could at the time.

Thank you for the PM. I have googled mapped it and you're over an hour off my journey - turns a 3hr 45 into a 5hr10 journey.
