Hey,

Looking for some advice going to get one of these cards over the next couple of days.

My current choice is between:

Zotac GeForce GTX 1070 Mini 8GB - 299.00
MSI GeForce GTX 1070 ARMOR 8G OC - 329.00
Asus Cerberus GTX 1070 Ti - 369.00

Playing on a 1440p screen with an 8600K 4.8gz

Which one would best value?

Thanks

Vega 56 is a 1070Ti competitor, my money would go there or 1070Ti.

Thanks Gibbo, will sleep on it then. Gutted I missed the pulse deal and it looks like the red dragon might be at the limits of fitting my case. Is the Gigabyte noticeably worse than the Sapphire and Powercolor for thermals?

Its better than Asus marginally, a little behind Sapphire and Powercolor, but perfectly adequate.

Also remember with the AMD VEGA cards you get those three awesome games, Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry 5 and Division 2 which really makes the VEGA's truly fantastic value.

I think youve just tempeted me Gibbo.
Would an antec 620w psu be enough for the 56?

Yes and also remember with Vega cards you under-volt them at which point they do not only perform really insanely well but you can get the power consumption down to as low as just 200W and of course cooler and near silent.

To be honest VEGA is just a gem of a product, when correctly optimised its faster, cooler, quieter and consumes less power. It is more a modders card, but once optimised is in a league of its own.

At under £500 I'd personally buy a V56 or V64 everytime. :)

Yes you can get a 1070Ti from us for £360 and you can get an RTX 2070 for £460, but the whole under volting, pricing, freesync and games bundle just makes VEGA right now a very attractive buy.

Give Sapphire another poke for us please Gibbo!

I was hoping some of the Sapphire 64 Nitro+ cards might have been returned from unhappy customers (you always get a few right?) but none have appeared in the B-Grade section as of yet :o

Gibbo, please can you confirm the lengths of the cards? (Vega 56) from what i seen online the gigabyte card is 1 1/2 inches shorter in length than the Powercolor, if so the powercolor would not fit in my case, just want to double check before placing my order.

Thanks

The staff get first dibs on B-grade, perk of the job, hence why there is none and out of a 1000 sold and shipped, literally only 2-3 were returned, 1 faulty and 2 un-wanted, which staff took.

Vega is our best selling product by miles presently, followed by RX 580, then followed by 1070Ti. :)
