NASA's trip to Mars

Which part are you not getting? :)

As @sigma says it’s delayed by 8 mins but I didn’t understand how we get the signal. But the lady on the TV show says the InSight lander sends communications to the two little MarCo satellites which accompanied it and it was them that sent the signal to the Deep Space Network via UHF which takes 8 minutes.

I didn't have any doubts. Curiosity was the size of a car and they bossed it. Amazing, amazing stuff. Bravo NASA well done again :)

Disturbingly, it isn’t even a given that it’ll get launched due to budget constraints.

Don't see why they'd can the JWST they've invested nearly 10 billion already and it's in its final stages. Plus they need something to replace the Hubble which is failing to bits :P

What the core is made of for 1 thing. Read the comic on the link i posted near the start. Goes a little OT with jokes but tells you some more in there in an easy to digest form!
