Did Linus just leak RTX Titan ?

Please elaborate?

At an event just before Vega released we were meant to finally get decent info on RX Vega but Koduri got Linus to go up on stage in front of a room full of what sounded like hundreds of screaming children & use diversionary tactics to take the focus away from Vega making it all about what Linus called an amazing unboxing experience due to a holocube that was meant to be something special apparently, It comes as no surprise that the cube has since fallen of the radar, He was helping Koduri stonewall us. To quote someone else "The crowd seem very young and the level of excitement in the video is so insanely high we almost felt as if we were backstage at a Justin Bieber concert" Kit Guru

There won't be a RTX Titan, the 2080Ti is the Titan for this series........oh wait.

And MuttonChops better be true to their word and be buying one...

I will buy any nvidia products regardless of their price.

Value is not only about worth.

lol linus is cool but I will still keep my asus 980 ti in sli on a asus swift 144 hz runs all games at ultra. but if you got cash buy 2 rtx cards lol then check your walte hehehehehehehehhe

Leaked specs indicate that the card is a full fat TU102 and should be a whole 5% better than the RTX 2080 Ti. Somehow I don't think I'll be upgrading.

Same for Titan Xp. Was just a few more cores but at a silly price.

I would guess this comes out at $1999.

Nvidia looks to be positioning this like they have past titans as a card that's also a "halo" gaming\prosumer product. They never sampled the titan v to YouTubers afaik as they were trying to position that away from gamers....though the price would have done that for the most part anyway. Makes no sense to send it to YouTubers that primarily deal in gaming gear if that wasn't their intention.

I reckon maybe £1300-£1500 for this tops if that's what Nvidia are trying to position it as.

The RTX Titan will probably not even be worth looking at performance wise as it will use the reference cooler and struggle to beat out the better non reference 2080 Ti cards.

There is not that much space left on the chip to maximise the Titan compared to a 2080 Ti and offset the poor reference cooler.

With something like the Pascal Titan Xp it could beat out the better 1080 Ti cards as it did not use that much power and generate that much heat in the first place, Turing on the other hand produces a lot more heat and needs much better cooling.

RTX Titan = Xmas Turkey.
