There will always be some that demand the ultimate. And, we have to remember that a lot of buyers won't be gamers.
It's not too different than CPU's really. I mean don't OCUK sometimes charge a whopping premium for the best chips? I think they mostly go to corporate customers. Okay, we're not talking a £1000 -£1400 difference but if I remember correctly CPU's that clock at 5.2 or .3 being £200 more expensive than 5.1. Some customers will want the ultimate regardless of the price and this is the GPU equivalent.

I'd be surprised if its any faster than some of the higher clocked ti cards. It's still got that **** cooler on it so thats its big limiting factor.

I'm guessing the difference might be more worth it when the RT is not real time? For a multi-media organisation turning over millions for example, £2400 to get the best performance possible for a GPU will be nothing.

Ah well, amusing day anyway :). Even I'm surprised it's that high!
 
Lol..£2400 and it only has 10% more ray tracing performance than the 2080Ti but you just know the idiots will be lining up to throw money at Nvidia for use in their gaming rigs.

All the available evidence (from AIB partners, and Steve Nexus whose multiple 2080ti's all work) is that the failure rate of the 2080ti Fe is no higher than previous generations.
Plus it feels to me that NVIDA's claim that a few bad cards were mistakenly initially sent may be true. My replacement works fine and better.
 
To buy this i would have to be feeling the effects of a cocaine and drink fueled night, and even then i'd baulk at the price and say **** off.
 
Nope, plenty happy enough with my 2080Ti.

It may or may not be any quicker. The 2080Ti is already quite heavily power limited without a bios flash. The Titan will likely be using the same board + same vrm and with no possible bios upgrades probably isn’t worth it to be fair.

All the cost for a few hundred cores and an extra 1gb memory. No thanks.
 
I want to order 4 now, changed my mind from 2, i want to run battle field V with RTX ON 4k @ 40 frames. :rolleyes:

So let me get this straight, a possible at best 5-7% performance difference for an exxxxxxxxxxxxxxxtra £1300 ahhaha Nvidia

the extra memory is of no use to us gamer's.

i still want 4, take my money.
