Will you be buying an RTX TITAN ?

It's not being marketed at gamers. It won't stop some people buying it for gaming, but that is not its market, and with that amount of RAM it's clearly not designed to be.
I have got a 2080ti. I got it knowing there may be a Titan, but as that obviously was going to be markedly more money it would be a stretch too far for me. Being petulantly dismissive of it doesn't seem rational to me.
If I had endless money of course I would get 2, a collection of old master paintings and a fleet of luxury mega yachts.

It is a bit of a laugh though, the 2080ti is no longer the flagship card 2 months after release for the measley sum of a grand.

A mate of mine popped around with his 2080ti for me to test at the weekend before he installed it in his new Ryzen build which he hadn’t started yet...he was worried it might be DOA.

Anyway I installed it...then he had to pick his gf up from town...he nipped out for an hour, I swapped in my 1080ti and didnt tell him.

He played a few games and was chuffed with the performance at Ultrawide...( he went the 4K route :o)

It was only when I told him he was playing with my 1080ti he decided to proceed to feel hard done by :D

I never thought the 2080ti wouldn't have a higher card coming after it. My purchase of a 2080ti wasn't either buy a 2080ti now or wait for a Titan. A Titan was never going to be a consideration for me. I was well aware of the cost of the 2080ti, it wasn't some kind of surprise when my card got charged.
It makes no difference if the Titan comes 2 months or mid way through the generation.
