Certain games crashing at 4k

I know people who play Left for dead in 4K and have no problems with it. Not sure why all your older games are bugging out when you switched to 4K, it's just a monitor. Did you change anything else when you got the monitor? Install any other hardware or software? Maybe a windows update that just happened to coincide with the arrival of the TV and that's actually what's messing everything up?

Or have you a multi monitor setup now? If so try unplugging everyone except the TV.

Any luck with unplugging the monitor? Or completely reinstalling one of the games? You know the way when you install some games and start them up for the first time they install the Microsoft packages they need.

I'm grasping at straws here I know

Sorry for the late reply, o2 was down all day yesterday as you probably heard, so I had no internet !
Tried unplugging the monitor last night and still the exact same. Yep I tried reinstalling one of the games and still not working, until I hit alt+ent and it works perfect.
I tried out doom and fallout 4 which both work perfect. I give up for now haha.
It’s not even that I want to play these games that aren’t working, it’s more the fact that I hate giving up on trying to fix something.

Bizarre!! It's really annoying me and it's not my computer!! Sorry couldn't be more help, lol actually sorry I was no help at all,

No honestly thank you so much for the help. So I deleted the drivers and ran it with no drivers. Worked fine on my card in 4K. Redownloaded them and again it crashed.
Wasn’t convinced it was just the newer drivers so I done a clean windows install. Downloaded drivers and still the same ! Just rolled back a few drivers and now working perfectly ! I didn’t expect it to work as I have found nobody have the same problem !

Was away for a few days and only catching up on the forums now. Great to hear you got it sorted and it was something simple in the end. The simple to solve problems always seem to give the most trouble
