Astro A40s and Xbox one

Does anyone else here use an old Astro a40 headset (gen 1) and original mix amp with an Xbox one and get horrible buzzing when talking?

AFAIK it’s fine on PS4 so I’m confident it’s nothing wrong with the equipment itself but on Xbox one it’s pretty bad.

It’s powered by usb plugged into the wall with the Xbox controller connected to the controller port with the Xbox chat adapter.

OK, it's headphone jack port on xbox pad. I had the same problem.

Use another pad, sorry. Someone else had problems with xbox chat pad, they replaced it.

Interesting, as it’s on both my pads and doesn’t matter if I use the chat adapter or not.
