Our bash was last weekend, all paid for and rather good fun. Although I wasn't involved with organising it, I did cadge a lift with one of the organisers and so got there quite early. Early enough to have a good chat with the main man behind the bar and we spoke about the three gins they had on display.
Out of the three of these, I liked the Brecon the best, followed by Silent Pool. They made a good G&T, decent glass, shedloads of ice and the correct garnish. I only had to look over at the bar and nod and the gaffer poured me another drink.
Here's me back at the hotel in the early hours after having had quite a skinful
I enjoy getting dressed up from time to time. Our dress code this year was semi formal so I wore a DJ with a christmasy bow tie rather than the traditional black.
