Hi guys.

So it’s after Xmas (hope you all had a good one!) and I’ve been tasked to build my nephew a new gaming pc.

So the budget is £500. Monitor, keyboard, mouse, os and case is not required.

Games he plays are fortnite and rainbow six siege. Monitor is 1080p.

Looking for something that is reasonably future proof on the cpu/main board side as I realise at this budget a lot of compromising has to be made so things like the ram etc can be upgraded at a later date.

Cheers

I left out pc case because i am no expert on what pc case would be suitable.

edit

Just read your first post op, seems you will be reusing your pc case.

Why the 4gb Gigabyte card over the 8gb Sapphire?

I think I'm leaning towards the 2600 if I can get them to push the budget up a little, how 'much' slower is the 1400 in gaming usuage?

Thanks again.

Build quality , UK RMA, rep support .

Intel, value hard to swallow , but i3 4 cores beats ryzen 1200/1400 4 cores specially at 1080p gaming .
Push ryzen 2600 !!!!!
