Hi all,

I posted here a while back and Kurgen was very helpful, not sure if he's still around. I didn't end up buying the set up he recommended in the end due to unforseen circumstances but the itch is back and circumstances have changed.

I'm looking to either build or buy a pre built PC and monitor capable of playing the latest games at mid-high settings, possibly with a keyboard and mouse if there is something you guys could recommend.

I'm open to Intel or AMD but AMD seems like the way to go for bang for buck...

Thanks
Andy

Is there a way to transfer your basket into mine or do I have to do it manually?

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £922.45 (includes shipping: £14.70)

Vega 56

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,047.99 (includes shipping: £13.20)

Orbital would I be able to fit an HDD in that case too? The Vega looks very nice!

Yes, looks like 2 HDD and 1 SSD or 1 HDD with 2 SSD

Rule of thumb normally is, buy largest SSD you can afford for OS and few games, then add cheap HDD down the line as only £32 odd quid for 1TB .

Though now most people use NAS set ups

I've always been a bit weary of the micro atx cases but this one actually looks like there's plenty of room inside. I think I'm sold :D thanks for all your help

Ok so it's here, I've started putting it all together and realised they've sent 2 mobos! I've got an Asus b350 and the gigabyte b450m. Unfortunately I'd already mounted the cpu and cooling fan on the b350 before I realised I've used the wrong one. Any advice? Can I still send the b350 back? And is there much difference between the two mobos? Call centre not open today so that's no help!

you can send it back at ocuk's expense. it's their fault.
i'd use the b450.
b350 may need a bios update to work with the ryzen 2xxx chips.

Thanks for the fast reply, I haven't paid for the b350 so was just worried they'd try and chargeable for it because I've opened it up.
np :)

no ocuk cannot charge you for their fault. if they want the item back, it's at their expense and at a time convenient for you.
they sent you a wrong item, albeit an extra item.
shoulda kept hush lol. not that i'm condoning (effectively) stealing from a company :p
