Pretty much.

As already pointed out (more than once) in this thread, he is a right-wing MEP with an anti-immigration agenda, and the press conference he gave portrayed an incredibly biased interpretation of the Compact designed to further his interests.

The problem is, he gives the press conference in front of a backdrop with EU parliament logos and suddenly everyone thinks he’s talking on behalf of the EU…
