New graphics card (move to Vega 64) or change other bits too?

Hi all,

Given I spent so much time gaming I was thinking of a new Graphics card

1.) Just add new GFX card. RX480 is nice but I can spend a bit of cash and play PUBG with everything on ultimate. Overclock the CPU.

I was thinking the VEGA64 to match with freesync on my Philips monitor.

Opinions?

Your monitor is capped at 60Hz (Frames Per Second) so take that into account, if you want to max out the quality settings then you really want to be looking at an RTX2080+ but with CES in about a week I would wait and see if AMD release a 7nm Vega 64 for consumers.

Thanks guys, you're right. The monitor does not have Freesync.

I decided to bite the bullet and just bought a Vega 64.

Let's see how it goes!
