Some upgrade advices!!!

Hello everyone! I am willing to upgrade my system.Currently I have : i5 4460 , asrock z97 fatal1ty killer , a gtx 960 , and 16 gigs of ram ddr3.
I will got an rtx 2060 when it release soon for free!! So I would like to stay on the same socket (1150)and keep the mobo! What you recommend overall!!! Thanks a lot btw!
Also I have a 2k monitor!

as you're keeping everything except the CPU - i guess...upgrade the CPU then?
either a 4770k or 4790k.

Haha agree! But I would like to hear if u had any suggestions even to change mobo etc!

U are right , look I am willing to spent arround 200€

you're not going to get any meaningful upgrades for 200euro.
because you'll need to buy new ram as well, in addition to the cpu and motherboard

That’s why I would like to stay on 1150 xD . I think it’s more worth to stay on that socket with a i7 4790k or i7 4770k. And I will be able to play on 1440 on decent fps.( I hope at least )

that's more dependent on your GPU. with a 960, no. with a 2060, yes.

go broke and de-lid the thing and overclock to the max!

rtx 2060 or Vega 56 if you can get a good deal .

specially if you havent got a 1440p screen yet as freesnc ones are a LOT cheaper !

The way is I have no clue about overclocking!!!
Also i already got my monitor!!

sorry, thought you had an i5 k version, as above could slap in second hand i7 K CPU and read up some guides for overclocking, doesn't have to be huge but will help .

i7 would help with modern games like BFV that does uses CPU threads
