Spec me a USB-C charger on Amazon.

No, I returned may be 5 things in about 20 years average 100 orders a year.

Hmmm, if they're slightly high value I wouldn't be surprised if they've dropped your account in to an unfavourable customer group which would create certain restrictions.

Could be tracking your IPs or across all devices you've used. I wouldn't put it past them to make sure any "risks" were mitigated.

It would be really weird because i seldom return anything and of all things, an adaptor, something that I bought a month or so ago, and no i didn't return it!

Odd, I've gone back and it's still showing as available as fulfilled by and sold by Amazon.

It’s members proximity to which warehouse I believe.

That makes perfect sense as they stock their warehouse not by category but in a weird random way that make sense logistically in terms of picking, so it makes sense for this to scale up on a national level where it will direct the customer to items that is maximum profitability for them for delivery of that one is on stock the nearest warehouse. It’s no point sending it from the warehouse in the other end of the country.

And the customer will never know where it came from at all and it’s associated price as threads like these don’t get made for every item you buy.

Maybe it's bumping up the price for prime account holders? A way for scraping money back for the quick delivery times? I've got a 30 day trial and I don't see the sold by Amazon

Shows £27.66 now for me not £27.02 - dunno if price has changed since Raymond posted or if Amazon are playing silly games.

EDIT: Just logged in on an IP that has never been used (by me) for Amazon before on a system without a previous Amazon login and shows £27.66 as well.

Wouldn’t be surprised, I buy a few things on a regular basis that seem to end up in the “Available to Prime members only” that I then need to wait a few weeks till it becomes freely available again so I wouldn’t be surprised if they use other underhand tactics.

My brother in law has noticed a few times that if there is a cheap and expensive version of the same item often the cheap one shows "Available in 1-2 weeks" while the expensive one shows available for next day delivery but if you order the cheap one it still turns up next day.

Careful with these 3rd party usbc high powered chargers.
I'm in the process of returning one as the usbc charger failed within a few charges.

It seems to be a common fault that the cheap ones cant handle the power draw (heat).
Fine using a phone, but asking 60w like my surface book 2 does breaks it.

Check the reviews!

I can always send it back if it’s a problem - Amazon are good for that sort of thing, especially when it’s something they sell rather than a third party.

More the damage it could do to the device

...surprised OC don't sell these.

Under CE rules, wonder if all high power usb-c supplies have to check they have a e-marker cable with sufficient cable guage ?

Amazon prices ofteen seem to be minimum when just out of stock .... maybe prices will go up for divorce settlement
