Lunar Eclipse - Super blood wolf moon from 2.35am

Yeah, it sucks if there's fog. It's quite clear here. I just took a pic through my window. First sign of it beginning.

Yeah, my phone cam sucks for this. My proper camera is on loan to my rents right now.

Though I did just remember I have binoculars, can't remember where they are right now but might have a look if I can find them.

Stunning view of it here, glad I decided to go out and take a look. Phone camera does it no justice sadly, can barely see it.

It's completely vanished here now, I'm not seeing any red moon, it's full eclipse and approaching totality in half an hour.

Decent view, my bino's are decent, I mean it makes it way bigger but best focus I can get is a bit off. Still interesting though and damn are there a lot of stars out here. Down on the south coast these days, clear sky and living in the sticks (well small village) with Hastings close by but over a hill meaning most of the town light is contained pretty well from me. I think this is the clearest night I've seen here in 2 years. Terrible knees makes it a bit of a pain in the cold but I went out for a while. Amazing night sky tonight. Really angry my camera isn't working as it's a billion times better than my camera with dark pictures.

I keep meaning to buy a telescope because no idea how long I'll live here and feel like I should take advantage while I am here. Toying with the idea of building a summer house with glass ceiling which I could sit in with a telescope at night.

I've got the worst red moon picture.
So bad I won't even show lol.

Looked cool though.

I'll try again when I get off the bus to work.

Didn't see the blood moon but the sky this morning was amazing, the reddest I have ever seen. It actually looked like the hills were on fire.
