Then they really haven't tried at all.Well yes if by email then technically that is correct but they also have both my phone numbers and address so a phonecall would surely have been their go to route?
Secondly I left the company last year in August, this would be roughly 18 months since I bought the monitor and 4 ishish mon since I threw it out. They certainly did not try to contact me in the 18 months of still being with the company. Like I said, they have my address and phone numbers too. A good company would certainly try more than one contact route surely. Even though it was easier to converse via email.
Then they really haven't tried at all.
Sounds like they are just trying to make it hard for you to return yet another faulty one to them when they know full well it's totally unreasonable for you to have kept the last borked one that long.
Dell monitors are fantastic, and their warranties are ok. However their customer service is useless and actually getting to the point of being able to return something is like pulling teeth.I had always heard Dell were very good on customer service and this monitor is well regarded, hence using them!
you are now dealing with same segment of dell as originally ... was it a business purchase originally ?It was never collected, I did try contacting the supplier twice via email about this but I was never responded to
I have actually adjusted that post as my time frame was off, it's actually around 22-23 months of owning that monitor and still having access to the email. They hadn't tried in all that time and still nothing even on my phone numbers.
I think you may be right, perhaps they are trying to make it hard for me and hoping my me not having the monitor now I will approach them with an offer of cancelling my replacement if they don't try and recover the old faulty monitor, even though in my eyes it is in their hands and I did enough to look after that monitor safely for a long time for them.
just tell them they did collect the faulty monitor, they can’t prove either way really
Yeah might not be what yuo want to hear, but maybe theyve been trying to contact the work email that you provided and contacted them through?
who was the delivery/returns company ... do they have records (potentially of failed pickup) ... I guess (edit) new box shows data.
This is like btnet and vodafone for me!! I have 6, yes 6!!! Cisco 2900 Series Routers that BT keep sending me and never picking up. When I spend hours on the phone (literally) asking why they keep sending me more routers I seem to have another one turn up, its like they are playing some kind of router game with me. I don't need or want them, I mean, I actively use 4 of these so why do I need another 6 sitting there? These have now been sitting in my comms room for more than a year! Vodafone sent me 14 galaxy S9's instead of 4 and picked up 7 leaving me 3, and yes I tried to give the courier the extra ones but apparently he only wanted to pick up 7? ... After more calls than I can count, I still have 3 galaxy s9 phones sealed and boxed in my comms room. What is it with companies refusing to pick stuff up or not making arrangements? I have begged Voda and BT to sort this out but still nothing.
