I don't like Alex Salmond, but he's innocent until proven guilty.

The vote is no longer about policy concerns, and is polarised around Brexit and Independence, it will never change unless those are resolved.

Which is exactly what the SNP wanted. Make it emotional so it detracts from their abysmal policies and governing.

Thankfully, it's clear people are now finally seeing through this. Even the SNP has massively divided on the back of this. What I see is that with current momentum the SNP will no longer have a majority in the Scottish government after the 2021 elections. Brexit or not, that's not going to change unless someone drops a clanger. Can't come quick enough for me so we can all get on with our lives again and paving the way for Ruth Davidson to jump into Number 10 at some point

Quite a few charges of sexual assault and two of attempted rape? those accusations (and I emphasise accusations) make Harvey Weinstein look like a gentlemen, at least his accusers got film roles in return.

I would say the CPS must be very confident of a conviction to bring charges against someone as high profile as him.

The sights of people cheering him out of court and a cry of "good on ye" says a lot.

You keep involving the SNP in this mans sexual harassment... it's really sad man. Yet disgusting creatures like Cyril Smith got to fiddle kids on the government's payroll, with barely a peep.

Seriously though if the SNP hid his harassment, it is entirely right to blame them.

For somebody that "doesn't like the SNP" you get awfully defensive.

Of course the SNP are involved, allegations have been around since 2013 when he was leader of the SNP and the Scottish First Minister. One of those allegations was "settled informally" out of court. Yet, he remained as First Minister and leader of the SNP.

The SNP have been blinkered on this matter as it's Alex Salmond. The truth will come out and I'd wager a lot of money that it transpires that Sturgeon knew fine well that there was procedural irregularities in the Scottish Government Inquiry, allowing that one to be defeated.

Absolutely.

She's already been found out for having "behind closed doors" meetings with Salmond about these cases, with no-one else present and with no official appointment record being made, which was hidden for 6 months.

Her meetings with Salmond could have jeopardised the Inquiry and I fail to believe she wasn't aware of the conflict of interest of Leslie Evans. There is an ongoing inquiry into this........another inquiry.
