How do you find it for use in stairs? Do you have the suction powered pet brush attachment?
Very few complaints. Its not perfect but for the money i don't think there's anything better. It picks up very well, the suction is variable, the lift away is great for stairs and its quite maneuverable. It's built as well as any Dyson and just about every way it's better than the Vax air pet it replaced but it is a little heaver.
Niggles, and these are small ones:
- The front roller on the head doesn't extend all the to the left so suction on that side isn't as good - i find myself hovering skirting and furniture with the right side of the head against it.
- the rollers on the head can be switched off with a switch on the handle, which is great, but that means the wiring for that is incorporated in the main hose, so it's thicker and a bit less flexible as a result and it's fairly short too
- The handle and hose is on the heavy side making hoovering ceilings ect a bit of a chore.
- The handle is quite bulky and with the powered brush head it's a bit more difficult to use than the Vax on stairs, for example, but there's not much in it and the powered head is much better than the Vax equiv.
- I have to clean the head and brushes waay more often than i did the Vax, though that may not be a bad thing ...
- If i leave it out of the cupboard, which is quite often in a family home with two kids and two pets, our two year old likes pressing all the release buttons so the bloody thing falls to bits when i pick it up. It's infuriating
