New Ryzen build only loads os 1/5 times.

I have recently built a 2700x with an Asus X470 itx. 32gb Corsair 3000 ram and a vega 56. 700w gold psu (maybe bequiet) but a good brand regardless.

Ram and vega taken from a working system.

Bios is at default other than using RAID (which I half think might be the problem)

I have raided two 500gb ssd’s into one 1tb ssd using raid 0.

Os is not on raid however.

It only loads into windows every fifth (or so) time. When it does it works a treat. Sometimes it just hangs, sometimes it attempts to repair the os. Sometimes it works!

Any thoughts?

Edit it seems to like to boot after a hard reset (power switch on back of psu)

Is this a fresh install of windows or a existing installation from a prevoius computer? If it's not a fresh install then I would certainly try that first.

Fresh install.

I have a feeling it’s the AMD raid drivers that preload windows 10. Just transferring my darts from the raid drive to another drive and then I’ll uninstall driver and test

Disabling raid did nothing but swapping out the vega 56 for an RTX card seems to have solved the problem so perhaps it was a gpu driver glitch or something?
