however we've claimed it's engineering sample & the video files aren't huge enough to showcase the benefit of AI so.....we will see, when the deeper media review go public

yes, watched in in full, expecting the worse.....

From talking to HQ this morning, there will be some videos coming with "proper" testing, and also we expect Linus to conduct a full and in depth review when samples are released to the media. As @baloney said, the unit was engineering sample for the show, and the "test" that had been approved to run, weren't the best.

We will see more soon, and hope the feedback will be much more positive

Not exactly a fair test though comparison wise since the "old" one they tested was a 1080p screen and the "new" one is a 4k screen so ofcourse it's going to be more power hungry.

not really. the 4k screen of the previous gen still could get around 5-7h of battery life

Hopefully we get reviews for the 144hz model soon. Looks like it'll struggle to take full advantage though.

Out of interest, can any of the current gpu's consistently hit 120 fps plus at 1080p on modern titles?
