I quite like them! I'm only powering them off a Google Pixel XL but comparing them to a pair of Creative Aurvana Live! headphones (version 1) they're pretty similar. Not as much bass but this increased after swapping the medium tips for large ones, getting a proper seal made a difference. Overall so far so good. The bass maybe isn't as thick or the sound stage as wide but they're fairly similar I'd say overall. Limited comparing though with no fancy gear and rough matching of volume. Just need to see how comfortable they are after some longer use.
Horses for courses really, CALs are open and rubbish for office use as they offer no passive noise cancellation so anything relatively similar that does is a winner for me. Open to swapping the tips maybe, if anyone can recommend any with more bass
