Mary Poppins is a racist

So, some folk that call others SF for being offended at words are offended because they, in turn, are being called "gammon".

It's a very strange world we live in.
Nope, you’ve got it all wrong. I couldn’t give a rats ass about being called a gammon, but I do take issue with gammon being allowed but SF not. Double standards.

Is there a limit to or definition of threads we should be critical or have an opinion of?

Nope but there is an easy solution, read the threads you’re interested in. If you’ve got an opinion on the subject matter then that’s one thing, if you’re simply moaning about the existence of the thread then perhaps you’d be better off just reading other threads that interest you. There are a whole range of sub forums and threads on here it just seems a bit silly to actively read and post in the ones that you don’t like.

I'm not moaning about the existence of the thread. I'm sharing my opinion about the poor quality of the thread - title and content.

Yet you're in here posting in the thread, why not just read one of the other threads? No one forced you to read this one.

Eh?

I thought this was a weird new Captcha. Makes a change from sign posts or store fronts.

Could it be because SF was being hurled around more often and by more people, therefore presenting itself as a bigger problem?

SF was being used every day in every thread involving political correctness/brexit/Donald trump etc

Someone did a search and found that gammon has been last used (in context) two months ago.

A bit different.

Isn't it a SF type response, to dramtise and play victim :D

There are plenty of poor quality threads on here, you are aware it is GD not SC. The same argument applies, it seems a bit futile to actively enter and post in thread complaining about the thread when others are happily responding to it and you're able to read other threads. There are plenty of threads sharing news stories of varying "quality" etc.. I just don't understand the mentality of moaning about a "poor quality" thread when no one forced you to read it in the first place and you can just read other threads.
