So both cables has some kind of extra plug, what do I do with them?

????

Nothing if the card doesn't have 8 pin sockets.

Tuck them away as best you can.

If you're talking about the other trailing plugs they can be ignored as well. They're there so a single cable can connect to both plugs on a single card. Using separate cables as you've done is the better option.

@freddie64I Im using RTX2070 and Seasonic Focus plus 80 gold 750W PSU with Meshify C atx case
I've heard of extensions but never really looked into them. Any good recommendations for a set? Im using 2 8pins for CPU

If you are after a extension kit, some thing like this will do for example.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £31.69 (includes shipping: £8.70)

You can get other brands, but are basically the same just cost more. (Cable Mod Pro will probably be a lot better quality though)

You can get full replacement cable kits so you don't need extensions, but they are expensive.

Your 2070 is only using 1 x 8 + 1 x 6 pin. It's just your PSU GPU cables are 6 + 2 pin connectors

Hi is this ok? I want to buy from a quality brand and also want full black cables.

Edit: noticed its 2 PCI (6+2) , might have to find a set for one 8 Pin and one 6 pin in black

My bad I honestly didn't know.
Im not comparing prices or anything, I check from that site because I need it shipped to Hong Kong which is abit weird I guess.

to be honest, extension cables are mostly for aesthetics rather than anything more functional (unless you know, you actually need the cables to be extended)
if you can live with the 2 pins hanging out and tucked away neatly, then don't need to buy the extension cables and save some money instead.

Sorry to hijack but at which point would you say use 2 cable sets instead of 1 set from the PSU (rx580) ?
Thanks
Rx 580 is still ok to use 1 cable. It's the higher draw cards that ideally should use 2 cables. Heat = I^2 * R. So if the wires have small gauges, there's a lot of resistance and heat. Can melt the wires or connectors.

@tamzzy

Should I be worried abt the the CPU power cables? (Notice the right one is abit lowered, infact all 4 plugs are really tough Im scared its gonna mess up my motherboard CPU socket

Also the GPU power cables are making my GPU sag abit I think. My mobo said it has metal plating to reduce sag but I think the cable heat shrinks are making it sag.

Edit: I've removed and plug back and still the same so thats why I think its stressing the sockets. Hopefully the cable extensions will solve the issue

there will normally be some stress on the PCB/mobo, but those are normal. it's the same in mine, and i wouldn't worry about it.
it just depends on how much force is applied on the mobo/gpu by the cables. unfortunately giving mid-air diagnoses over the internet, without having physically examined it, isn't particularly helpful in the slightest...
if you're a worrier, then i guess a few more bob to ease those worries won't be a waste of money.
