We've just passed 250 units sold, mostly Sapphire.

Remember AMD are guaranteeing to make sure we fulfill all orders, particular on Sapphire, so order in confidence guys. :)

Am I missing something or are the msi and gigabyte 150 squid more for a different coloured box?

The specs look identical

Pretty cool but considering the absolutely tiny performance boost over a Vega 64 I think I'm going to hold off for another year and either wait until high end Navi or until I can pick up a Radeon 7 for the same price as Vega 64's are now.

yeah i wont be moving on from my 64 either. basically priced out now as i refuse to go over 500 for a gpu anyway. cards looks nice though.

Pretty sad really, Even with Nvidia prices are going up and up and up and gen to gen performance is stagnating.

They've seen Asus getting away with it & wanted a piece of the pie,

I'm glad to see Sapphire offering a 3 year warranty with Vega VII, so there's no reason to pay the extra for that,

Now it's only Powercolor that offers a 2 year Warranty.

Actually that 3yr warranty on Sapphire came about from a conversation I had with them this morning and got them to agree to giving 3yr warranty. :)

You will find competitors are 2yr on Sapphire.

That's why it's best to shop here, :) Thanks & thanks for the link info yesterday I managed to get the order done in time.

Yeah same. I was planning on getting one but when I thought about it, i’m looking at having to put £400 to my 64 for 15-20% more performance at 1440p.

Nah, sorry. :p

They're all identical cards, but the pricing isn't down to Gigabyte. They're available from another retailer for a hundred quid less.

Other retailers seem to be slowly ramping up the prices over the course of the day as the stock levels go down (when I was thinking about it at lunch, there was stock everywhere at £650 and now it's up to £680-700 for anything in stock), while OCUK have it left at RRP on the Sapphire and huge markups on the other brands.

Where do these sit against my 1080 in terms of performance?

2080-level, unless you're doing double-length floating point, in which case it's a monster.

Honestly every person on earth who has spent years spending more on Asus cards than the alternatives when they are often worse cooling, are stupid as hell. Every time they all have reference cards and people pay 10-20% more for Asus for the exact same product you only encourage Asus to keep upping prices, which encourages the cheaper cards to have their prices increased.

Buy the cheapest, ignore the rest, then the prices on the rest come down. It's simple market economics yet consumers are too stupid to help themselves.

I think people stick to brands they know too. I nearly always buy a Asus mobo and EVGA GPU
