anyone remember when car adverts made you want to rush out and buy a new car?
just seen this on tv


was expecting something like this to occur

 
It's a Suzuki Swift, what were you expecting? Beside, show anything exciting in a car ad, and all the SJWs jump on you for killing the planet, or encouraging Mad-Max-style murder.
 
pretty good add - you've only got to outrun your competitor
seemed to poke fun at their own car/self-deprecation, with the female laconic driver, not inspired at all ... but she just wants a tool to get her from A->B,
none of this stupid lexus stuff with the girls on vacation, or the crass peugot (divorce) adds, or the VW CGI ram, Tiguan cool dad .

music's a bit 80's for a younger audience - is it having a renaissance ?

I assume there is not a complimentary add where she descend the helter skelter and we find she is really a rally driver. ? jackyl & hyde
 
Don't really see the problem with this advert? Yes it's not the most awe-inspiring, but neither is the product (Suzuki Swift). Plus it looks to have been a cheap advert to make. It certainly doesn't offend or come across as SJW in this post-Gilette climate...
 
They aren't allowed to show "spirited" driving in TV ads lol. The original gt86 ad was banned because it contained some drifting.
