Hey guys,

Currently in the process of changing cases, cpu n motherboard. Ive bought the case a couple months ago... A Phanteks Evolv x. I picked up the motherboard on Thursday... A Maximus Hero which ill fit with a 9700k in 2 n half weeks. Now what id seriously like your help with is the lighting of my new case. As you can see from the picture I own a lot of Corsair RGB items and looking through this site ive noticed not only do they stock a controlling unit for Phantek lighting but also have similar stuff from Corsair. My question... would you buy the Phantek lighting to go with the case n link it upto the Asus Strix card I have n the Hero board, or would you go the Corsair route and link it all through Icue. At the moment I have all my lighting linked through that program apart from the case which is under the desk, the new one will be on complete display. Please help!!

Please, anyone? Does no one have these lighting sets? or some experience in using similar? Ive never used them so not sure how much is 2 much

from my limited experience, I have iCue and all the corsair products you do. I also have an Asus Rampage v 10 edition motherboard.

I'm not sure your able to program the RGB of your motherboard through iCue? For that reason I decided to link all the lighting in my PC case to the motherboard, and kept my peripherals separate. I'm nor sure how anyone else has dealt with this though?

Yeh I was gonna go the same way if no one had replyed. Definitely cant use Icue for anything other than Corsair stuff. You got pictures of your set up, id love to see

I have just bought the corsair lighting strips with a corsair commander.
To be honest probably just as good as any other lighting strips but i own loads of corsair stuff so i like to link it all with icue.
Motherboards wont link to icue cause of competitions other programs like aura etc.. but there is some work around to get them all to sync together but i never managed to get it to work
