Just went to get my dinner out after 30mins in the oven and thought it looked a bit undercooked...

Well it was and I was able to remove the dish bare handed.

It still gets warm. Everything online says if the oven gets warm but not hot its the fan, but the fan is working fine?

Anyone here fiddled about with these before and able to offer any better advice that google?

I have someone coming to look at it but like to be prepared beforehand.

Its a bosch oven. Electric, with gas hobs. No idea what model or anything more specific than that

I'd say it's the thermostat if it's failing to reach the correct temperature.
It still clicks if i turn the temperature dial. So it is aware of what temp its getting to. I have read it might be a relay that then passes this on? It sounds like a relay clicking tho.

I dont really know if its food or if an element can explode like that but it looks like something has popped on it?

Had the same problem with ours last year and it was the element. It was a straightforward swap once the oven was removed to access the bits I needed to get to.

The manufacturer wanted a redonkulous amount of money for the element while a quick google found a very reasonbly priced new spare that was delivered next day.

It has been working fine ever since.
