A teenage boy has been detained for life after raping and killing a 14-year-old girl with a hammer.

First you read about that teenager that killed & raped a 6 year old and now there another teenager that done this

Detectives said the boy used a hammer, which was never found, to launch what prosecutors called a "ferocious and sustained" attack on Viktorija.

She suffered a fractured skull and spine.

Three of her teeth were found in the pavilion where she was attacked, alongside her blood-stained hat and earrings.

Viktorija was lured to West Park late on 11 April last year after she was contacted by her killer on Facebook messenger.

Earlier in the trial, the court heard Viktorija had been hit on the head 21 times in the attack.

Only a matter of time before they do, especially if they can get some blame targetted at the dreaded Grand Theft Auto. That one always seems to be one of the first games mentioned in appointing blame. Sometimes I'm amazed that any of us are still here, having played games for over 35 years I must be a seething, wild eyed, unbalanced, psychopathic mass murderer by now.

I saw an article saying the other day that there is no scientific link between video games and violent behaviour, but then again I've seen articles saying they do.
I think it depends on the individual but personally I think that a lot of kids don't get disciplined today like the previous generations did.

I've been following Shaun Atwood's YouTube blog about what prison is like. There are some horrific things done to people like this. He's going to have a pretty brutal time there.

When a crime is so violent, callous and the perpetrator irrefutable I honestly think a death sentence should be available.

Psycopathy. Part of it is that their brain's response to punishment is significantly below that of regular people. So, yeah, they just don't care.

You can't really read too much into that.

This is not a double blind test.

Those that learned not to kill may well have simply learned to exploit other people in equally nasty if perhaps less lethal ways.

(EG Thompson and Venables. I dont believe for one Atto-second that Thompson is any less of an evil little *** than Venables. It is just at he has bean taught, and has learned, to hide it better. That is not "reformation" and it does not mean he is safe. If he thought he could get away with it he would happily do it again!)
