Are India and Pakistan about to have another showdown?

India seem to be responding stoutly to Pakistan's actions in Kashmir, does it bode badly for even less stability or even another all out war? With Brexit making the running in the UK media it hasn't had a huge amount of air time given the potential for something serious to occur at any moment.

They've been at each others necks since they split, this is nothing new and unless they start nuking each other to death I doubt the world police will chime in to say anything while they're busy with Maduro

This current escalation is starting to break new ground though - the raid last night I believe is unprecedented in many aspects.

India has kind of thrown down the gauntlet - it is now in Pakistan's hands whether they want to seek a reconciliatory path or push things closer to real all out war.

They are waiting to see which side the US pick, so they can pick the opposite

Thing is Russia, the US and the UK all have relations and sell equipment to both sides. Because both have the attitude of "well screw you I'll just go and buy X from Y then!", so have got themselves in to a position where they can't count on help from anyone. We have to sit back and watch them slap each other around wondering wtf it's all about anyway.

Reports of Indian and Pak troops engaged in heavy skirmishes and fire fights at Sialkot which is in Punjab, not Kashmir. If true, sounds like it could be spreading.
