Gigabyte RTX 2060 - Fan Issue

Hello all,

Bought a Gigabyte RTX 2060 last month. Love the card but I have an issue with it and wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this.

Fans at low RPM are producing a sort of pulse / Vibration / noise that can be heard and felt through the rear plate. This happens until the fans get to 40% or higher then it goes away.

I thought it was a HDD issue but disconnected all power cables to them so they didnt spin up and issue remained and narrowed it down to GPU.

Anyone else experienced this?

Thanks
Steve

It's the Gigabyte Gaming OC 6GB bud.

I have looked online and a few other people seem to be reporting the same thing and looks like it could be a BIOS issue to do with Fan Control but can't find a new BIOS for the card anywhere.

hopefully gigabyte rep @GIGA-Man Can find out or pass it on, have you set manual fan curve ? avoid the sharp spike/low increase in fan rpm to avoid any vibration

I've not to be honest mate. I only really discovered the "fix" by accident and process of elimination last night. I will have a play around with it tonight and see what I can do with it. Not overclocked the card past what it shipped with so hopefully it can keep it cool enough.
