Shave clubs?

Another vote for DE, went that way myself a few weeks back crab a WS classic for 12 quid with 5 blades. Even converted the Mrs to them now

Fell into using a safety razor when I came out of work and couldn't stomach paying north of £10 every time I needed fresh blades. Bought a Merkur 34c, tried a few different blades and settled on Persona ones. Good blades for the money. Never stopped dripping blood since..;):)
Wouldn't switch back now.

Only rule for Shave Club is don't sneeze.

Think when i run out of my current supply of blades, i will give a DE razor ago if i can find one at decent price. Se how i get on, then see which way i go. I just find paying stupid money for gillete blades a pain that all.

I have a cornerstone, only used one blade as I don't shave very often, the wife uses it to shave her legs and says the first blade is still super sharp. To be honest it was far superior to any other wet shave i have ever had and I have used all types of blades, second to that was the shave my grandad always gave me, he was an RAF barber and shaved with a super sharp cut throat and hot towels, had a proper barbers setup in the utility room in his house right up until he died!

I use a DE razor (got an antique 1940s item that's lovely) but also use a Philips OneBlade from time to time too. The OneBlade is ace. Not particularly close but so damned fast and easy.
I used to use Gillette blades but never looked back after trying a DE about 10 years ago.
