Hi everybody, I'm creating a new gaming/productivity PC for as the name suggested playing games but also doing a lot of day to day work on programming, Microsoft Office etc.. My budget on a grand scale will be under £1,000.

Any recommendation?

Not needed because any PC peripherals like a keyboard, mouse and monitor i've already got it covered. The monitor which i will be gaming on is the DELL FULL HD 24 LCD Monitor 1920x1080p with a refresh rate of 144hz with a 1ms response time. So i prefer a build around that monitor to maximize my gaming performance.

heads up, ryzen 2600x currently going for £160 , recommend googling! at 1080p your limited by CPU speed

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £981.53 (includes shipping: £12.60)

vega 64 bit overkill! but could in game render at 1440p! also get 3 free games!

intel version which would handle slightly better then ryzen 2600x ( for that to beat intel need it running 4.3ghz all cores with 3466hz ram)
