any RGB fan kits for around £50

hi all

as per title, looking for some RGB fan kits to go in my new build... I was considering Phanteks halo but I thought id ask you lot for some input

Do you have good fans already? if so id say go for the Halos as getting RGB fans seems to only allow two options; do you like rgb or do you like performance?

Personally id get some quality fans like the Arctic P series or Phanteks and stick Halos on them rather than spend nearly 100 notes on three RGB fans from the likes of Corsair etc.

I havent got any case fans as of yet only the massive intake fan that came with my case. Im thinking of getting a couple of nice fans and a halo kit.. Im guessing the halo kit just slots over the top and then the hub is ran off a sata cable, is that right?
 
Very nice case but im not sure that 200mm fan has the static pressure to get cooling in the case. Id get a couple 140mm from Arctic or Phateks with high static pressure and fit some Halos to them, you'll have great cooling and the rgb :)

Arctic P series have great performance and are cheap as chips, Phanteks do great fans as well for not much more, can get a two pack for 14 quid, highly recommended fans :)

That's great bud thank you for the info, So you recommend scrapping the big intake fan for two 140mm fans and get a 140mm rear exhaust fan with halos fitted... Ill have a look at the Arctic fans in a sec

I think two 140s as intake would work best as i dont think there are many 200 that have good static pressure. Arctic P series have great performance and crazy cheap but dont let that fool you, they are great fans. Phanteks are a little more expensive but still quality compared to other fans twice the price.

Far better off with decent exhaust fans than in take and you don't even need in take fans as exhaust will pull air from where ever.
temps are lower with no hot spots with air pulled out as more towards a vacuum than pushing air in which allows air pockets/traps!

you can run an assortment of fans in that case(4x120 in the top and 2x 120 on the base)
 
Far better to use fans on filtered intakes in front and possibly bottom to supply filtered cool air to components and have no fans on exhaust vents thus ending up with little to no dust in system. ;)
 
Anybody know what software to use with the Phankteks Lux kit... I downloaded the motherboard RGB Fusion app but it says windows cant open file as it's compressed
