Hello all,

I'm looking into building a new PC from scratch. My budget is roughly £4000, under/over by a bit is fine. It's been a while since I've built my own PC so was wondering if anyone would be able to lend a helping hand in regards to a build?

Many thanks

Double check , £4k with monitor or £400 ??

As I was just doing g £400 and then had to double take haha

It's a very nice monitor indeed, I used it originally for the PS4 Pro

No preference, either works good with me

didn't blow full budget- didn't need to . NVMe over the top for gaming, but with budget and not going silly on it 1TB .
Flagship Z390 board that comes with highest class wifi as standard (take note asus) and UK RMA and warranty on boards and cards with rep on here to bug if anything goes wrong @GIGA-Man
Ram is Samsung B-die if you want to overclock it higher and RGB! also links in with the other Corsair stuff which is all controlled via their iCue, UK RMA and rep on here to @CorsairChris

BUT cases and RGB are personal choice ! hard one to judge!

Went with Gigabyte rtx 2080ti to drive that monitor! has 4 Yr UK warranty and is 2.5-3 slot cooler with triple fans. Could spec up to its flagship Aorus model with fancy RGB

but actually runs a little warmer and saving cash to be honest. again personal choice

ryzen 2700x and i9 9900k actually really close at 4k but went with intel as you've got the budget- and it achieves lowest Min frame rate , and thats what your aiming for with 4k, not highest frame rate .
plus ryzen 3000 is out Middle of July and should be a good improvement over current Ryzen

ryzen - flagship x470 to allow for upgrade to 12+ core ryzen 3000/4000 over the next 2 years
