I was laughing at it earlier as it wasn't that long ago the BBC ran an article about how moderate wine consumption (mostly red I think) was supposedly a significant factor in living beyond 90.

Makes sense to me. The longer you live, the higher the chance that you'll get cancer.
Not sure I put what I meant very clearly - there was an article not long ago that said moderate versus no or excess wine consumption was a significant factor.
Yes, and the article in the OP says that moderate wine consumption increases the risk of cancer over your lifetime.
It makes sense that if moderate consumption of wine increases your lifetime, then it also increases your risk of developing cancer during that lifetime.
I don't think that ... *checks notes* ... theory is, uh, very robust my dude.Sadly no one has survived life it's 100% fatal personally i go with the clock theory where you come into the world with a set amount of time and when it's up so are you so might as well enjoy it while it lasts and eat and drink what you like.
Oh no. What can we do?!Living over a lifetime leads to death.
Love it when media report 'so-and-so died of a cardiac arrest'.
Everyone dies of a cardiac arrest.
