Had a quick search and i think this is what he is referring to.
That's what I thought but it's doesn't relate to desktop Polaris gpu's.
The things I said are just my opinion, I'm not always 100% straight to the point but I def got Fiji, and Polaris spot on.
I've got it now cheers, The way you wrote it was like there was a bigger Polaris chip in development with a 384bit bus for the desktop which we know wasn't the case. The Scorpio APU wasn't originally planned for, like the PS4 Pro the Scorpio was born out of the need for better performance than the original Xbox One & PS4 offered. Sorry if it felt like I was putting you on spot that wasn't my intent I was genuinely interested to know if there had ever been such a chip as at that time I only recall people hoping there was going to be a bigger chip, If they could have done a big Polaris they should have as the delay between the Polaris release and RX Vega was a long one and out of the gate Vega didn't feel like that big a leap over Polaris which made the idea of having had a bigger Polaris instead of the wait seem like it would have been the better choice, being available over a year earlier would have made more sense than having nothing other than Raj Koduri telling us the merit's of why we'd be better off buying two 480's rather than one GTX1080.
