Me and the Missus off to london

The science museum is excellent

A speedboat trip down the Thames is pretty decent too

A walk around st James unto the palace is nice

Sea life centre is ok

Batteries dogs home if that’s your thing

The boat trip does sound very popular even online people say to do the boat trip... Sea life could also be an option as the missus always says to the kids about going there so she may consider that one

we do like a good museum tour so the science one could be on the cards... Also I will treat her to a nice meal night so one of these restaurants will be of choice thank you

Science Museum is huge, you can easily spend the whole day there. Probably best to take a look online and limit yourself to a couple of the sections.
Same with the V&A, and Natural History museums.

Churchill war rooms are fascinating, were basically abandoned for decades, but as such survived unmolested.

Simpsons Tavern is a traditional place. It's a chop house, so it's old style english food. Instead of asking if you want chips or salad on the side, they'll ask if you want a sausage. Say yes. ;) It's a really cool place, still has the bench seats and communal tables with the brass rails above the seats for the diners top hats. You'll get things like huge pork chops, cottage pie, various roasts. Best for lunch, around 2pm ish.

Also, forgot the British Museum. Great place, interesting assortment of things.
HMS Belfast.
There's the new Body Worlds exhibition in Picadilly. Not been yet, but from all I've heard it's fantastic.
Let's add the Cutty Sark and while you're in the area Royal Observatory in Greenwich. Squirrels are very friendly in the park there too. They will beg for food.
There's also London walks, couple of hours around areas of London. We've done the Jack the Ripper one, was excellent. Took around all the murder locations, had photos and descriptions at each site of what it was actually like. www.jacktheripperwalk.com and others at www.walks.com

Imperial war museum is excellent.

The Holocaust exhibition is incredible. The one about SOE and Special forces is very interesting, as is the WWI exhibition.

Most of what we have done has been mentioned; we were recommended the Bank of England museum, but it was closed, so went to the City of London Museum instead.

We did a jack the ripper tour too, which was quite interesting, though most of the buildings/streets are no longer there - I suspect the tour comes down to the knowledge and personality of your guide - ours was very enthusiastic and engaging.

Thank you for all this bud... I am going to have a look at that restaurant, seems very popular... There seems to be a fair few museums for us to visit and the war museum seems a hit, my missus likes a bit of history to. We missed the Jack the ripper walk last time we were up London so we ended up just visiting the museum, the walk would be amazing, a lot to learn from it im sure

Ohh jeez! Just had a look on there site to see what there all about, They do some fun and tasty looking cakes there

I walked in there with my daughter on her birthday walked straight in to the cafe and ordered... I've been in there about a dozen times and never had to book not always for the cafe though and sometimes the cafe is closed but it's still worth a visit to see the creations even if you can't get in the cafe.

The skygarden is first come first served for access in the morning, however sitting in the cafe opposite the entrance last week there was a que but all got in.

I must admit the cakes look not only tasty but very impressive.. The sheep ones look great with the marshmallows on...

Ive spoke to the missus about the sky garden and she said she'd love to do it, so we will try book something this week for it as were only up there for the Friday afternoon and Saturday so need to cram in as much as possible and enjoy it
