I am getting a 2019 Motability car. 7 seater.

Which one to choose:
  1. Peugeot 5008
  2. Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace
  3. Skoda Kodiaq
  4. other?
thanks

Discovery?

Audi Q7?

Hyundai Santa fe?

There is a Lexus 7 seater too I believe

I doubt they are on the motability scheme.

Id go for the 5008, unless the VAG offering are the Sport line or R line, then they are a bit dull. If you want the most usable space then the Kodiaq is the best bet, the rear seats are tiny but better than the other 2. Theres a new Seat on the same platform as the Kodiaq and Tiguan. Xtrail and CRV are available as 7 seat small SUV's as well.

5008 is a decent shout, great thing with motability no worries about future value. get the one you like the best and best suits your needs

You can get any car you want on a motability scheme afaik just not for "free".

Our last 2 Motability vehicles have been a Ford Galaxy (61 plate Titanium X 2 litre diesel, 66 plate Titanium X 2 litre Ecoboost with 240bhp).
We looked at every other 7 seater available (Pug 3008, Seat Alhambra, Ford C-Max, S-Max & VW Sharan to name a few), but nothing had the same power or level of equipment as the Galaxy. We paid £3500 advance premium, including the Family pack (rear window blinds, 240V socket, Isofix in all 3 middle row seats).

Our 3 year lease ends October this year, but since our mileage will be under 15k, we will probably extend the lease to 5 years.

We will certainly consider the Skoda Kodiaq and 5008, but I doubt they'll have an engine option as good as the Ecoboost.

S-Max is probably worth investigating too. Similar to the Galaxy, just looks a bit different but should have the same engine options etc.
