What to watch next?

The Shield is very good. I'd recommend that over most others. If you like a bit of sci fi, Battlestar Galactica is decent. It has its ups and downs but it's relatively solid.
 
I'm about to start The Shield.
I did give BSG a try a few years ago but got mightily fed up when it went all religious.
 
Yep, that's the low point. To be honest once you've made is past season 2 (I think) then you've seen the best of it :p

I'm really jealous of you, watching the shield for the first time! Enjoy :cool:
 
You've already seen some of the best shows around but The Shield is up there with them, so hope you enjoy.

After that I'd suggest looking at Justified and Banshee.
 
Lots of great long gripping shows listed. If you want something light hearted, short episdes and fun then I'm watching Catastrophe on Amazon on the moment and it's very funny.

EDIT: Or on 4OD as I just finished season 3 and it's not on netlix, but it is on 4OD! A great combination of just dealing with life but being bloody funny.

The following which has kevin bacon in. I thought it was good but they didn't renew it. Shame as it had some good writing going for it. Glad i popped in here as i had forgotten about the shield think i'll pick that up. Just got done watching Black summer. Nice and gory but lacks a good story and it keeps flip flopping between character development which i found annoyed me. But they must have had a low ball budget because some of the scenes are bad they made me laugh.

Also try Show me a Hero, only a few episodes, but a great watch.
